Windows Quick Start Guide

1. If you haven't already done so, download install.exe from here.
 
2. Run the install.exe by double-clicking the icon.
 
3. Follow the prompts pressing Next as required.
 
4. Navigate to your Start menu and click Start and select Programs, Alcea Fast IssueTrack, Alcea Fast IssueTra
 
5. A console appears on your computer screen, giving you some sample IP addresses to try.
 
6. Open a Web browser, and try some of the suggested addresses from the console. Looking in the console above, one of the suggested url's is http://192.168.0.169:10000/. The image below shows it typed into the Web browser.
 
The defaults on the Server Configuration page are likely fine. If you would like to enable email functionality now, enter your SMTP server. If you don't know what this is or what it means, leave this field blank. You can change this information later, once the system is up and running.
 
7. Create an administrator for your system by ensuring the Administrator option is selected. Also, create additional users with normal or read-only access.
 
8. Follow the Next Step prompts. You can modify the values you enter once the system is up and running. However, if you know what you would like to enter, it is convenient to provide the information at this point in time.
 
9. Click Finish.
 
10. The console will disappear as Fast IssueTrack has exited after the configuration stage.
 
11. Navigate to the Start menu and click Start, Programs, Alcea Fast IssueTrack, Alcea Fast IssueTrack.
 
12. Click the here link on the Finished Configuration page, or navigate to one of the URLs suggested in the console, as you did in the previous steps.
 
13. Login and begin using Fast IssueTrack.
