The Search
Engine Developer will be responsible for the configuration, implementation
and administration of Verity K2 and develop Query Processing using the
Java API of the Verity K2 product.

Tasks
may include:

Object-oriented
design and enterprise level application development using web application
servers in a Unix environment;

query algorithms for Verity K2 Soundex and thesaurus;

the spidering capability of Verity K2 and update data collections;
